An Undo Button for Your Website: Automatic Backups and One-Click Restore
Building a good menu takes hours: photos, prices, options, categories. Then one wrong click undoes it. A theme's demo content is imported on top of it, or a category is deleted by mistake. OrderPoint now keeps backups of your website content and gives you a one-click way back.
What a backup saves
- Your menu: products, categories and sub-categories, with their photos, prices and options.
- Your pages: blog posts, custom pages and menus.
- Your homepage: sliders, banners, testimonials, gallery, team, features, FAQs and pop-ups.
- Your design: theme, colours, section texts, images and layout.
What a restore never touches
Orders, customers and reservations stay exactly as they are. So do staff accounts, tables and QR codes, coupons, and your currency, printer, payment and login settings. Restoring an older backup never loses an order that came in since.
Backups happen on their own
- Before every demo import. Want to try a theme's demo content? Your own content is saved first, so you can go back if you don't like it.
- Before every restore. Restored the wrong backup? Restore the one marked Before restore and you are back where you were.
- Whenever you want. Click Back up now before a big change, such as rebuilding your menu for a new season.
Your 5 newest backups, and every backup from the last 30 days, are kept automatically, up to 20. They don't count against your storage limit.
How to restore
- In your dashboard, open Settings › Backups.
- Find the backup by its date and type.
- Click Restore, check the date, and confirm.
- Open your website to check it. That's it.
Only the account owner can restore backups; staff accounts can't. Your dashboard has a How backups work page with all the details, in English and French.
Backups are included in every plan, from Basic to Business. See our plans. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial.
