Getting Found on Google: Add Your Ordering Link to Your Business Profile
When someone searches "pizza near me" or your business name, Google often shows your Business Profile before any website: your hours, photos, reviews and the buttons beside them. Make sure those buttons send people to your ordering site.
Step 1: Claim and verify your profile
If you haven't already, search for your business on Google and choose "Own this business?", or go to Google Business Profile and follow the verification steps.
Step 2: Add your links
- Website: your OrderPoint address (your own domain, or your free subdomain).
- Menu link: food businesses can add a menu link. Use your online menu page.
- Order or reservation links: where these options are available for your business, add your own ordering and reservation pages. Google may also show third-party providers, so add your own link as well.
Step 3: Keep it fresh
- Keep holiday hours up to date. Wrong hours are a top source of bad reviews.
- Post new dishes or offers with a link back to your site.
- Reply to reviews, both good and bad. It shows you're paying attention.
- Add real photos of your products and your storefront.
Step 4: Make the website match
Use the same name, address and phone number on your website and your profile. Consistency helps Google trust both.
With OrderPoint you can set page titles and meta descriptions for your pages, connect your own domain (Business plan), and give customers a fast, mobile-friendly ordering experience once they click through.
